Shola Ajani, a Certified Management Consultant, established the School of Consulting as a legacy institution to equip African consultants with structured, world-class training, drawing on over 25 years of consulting experience across Europe, North America, and Africa.

Launched in London in 2019 with just four participants, the School has since trained over 400 consultants, developing the next generation of African consulting leaders.

​

Shola’s career spans both public and private sectors, with clients including the Office of the UK Deputy Prime Minister, London Stock Exchange, City of London Corporation, Chartered Institute of Housing (UK), more than 10 UK local authorities, ECOWAS, Novartis, Nestlé, GSK, Shell International, Accenture, KPMG, UBA Africa, and other leading institutions.

A pioneer of online recruitment in Nigeria and an early advocate of virtual/remote work in Africa long before COVID-19, he has consistently championed innovative approaches to work and talent strategy. He also created the groundbreaking 30-day multi-city recruitment tour across the USA and Canada, redefining international talent sourcing.

His innovative work has been featured on CNN International, and as a prolific writer and thought leader, he continues to shape the consulting profession while empowering Africa’s next generation of consulting leaders.
