The 6-Month Consulting Development Programme (CDP) is a comprehensive, career-transforming journey designed to equip professionals with the skills, mindset, and real-world experience required to thrive in the consulting industry. Structured into three progressive parts, the CDP combines online learning, residential workshops, and hands-on consulting practice, ensuring that participants not only understand consulting concepts but can also apply them confidently in real client contexts. Programme Structure Part 1: Foundational Online Training Duration: January – March 2026 (12 Weeks × 2-hour sessions) Mode: Virtual Instructor-Led Sessions This phase builds a solid foundation in consulting principles and professional practice. Participants learn the key frameworks, tools, and competencies that define successful consultants. Key Focus Areas: -Understanding the consulting profession, ethics, and value creation process. -Defining your consulting niche, service offerings, and value proposition. -Mastering consulting methodologies, frameworks, and analytical tools. -Enhancing communication, presentation, and client engagement skills. -Developing compelling proposals and impactful consulting reports. -Learning how to structure, price, and market your consulting services. Part 2: Residential Weekend of Advanced Consulting Training Duration: Held over Four Weekends (April - May 2026) Mode: In-Country, Face-to-Face Workshops This in-person phase provides an immersive and intensive learning experience, bringing participants together for advanced consulting development and real-time skills application. Part 3: Consulting Practice – Practical Application Duration: June – July 2026 (8 Weeks × 4 hours per week) Mode: Guided Consulting Projects (Individual or Team-Based) In this final phase, participants transition from learning to doing, by working on real-world consulting projects that address genuine business or organizational challenges. What participants will do; -Apply consulting frameworks and analytical tools learned throughout the programme. -Conduct field research, diagnose client issues, and develop actionable solutions. -Engage directly with clients or case sponsors to present findings and recommendations. -Deliver professional consulting reports and presentations. -Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced practitioners.
